We start from a given: in the last 2011 Italians have spent more on mineral water than wine. The voice mineral water has recorded a spending equal to 19 euros per month per family, while the wine is at a share of 18 euros per month.

Vinitaly 2012


To all wine lovers: do not take commitments from the 25th to the 28th of  March 2012. Return in  Verona Vinitaly, the international exhibition of wines and spirits.
The seat is Verona, and specifically, the exhibition space of VeronaFiere. If the edition plated 2011 has recorded 156000 visitors, the 2012 edition comes loaded with expectations for Italian wines, Italian sparkling wines and spirits.

Pesto: Italian style


Ligurian Riviera dop extra virgin olive oil and Genovese dop basil together to enhance two of the most famous products of Liguria.
The agreement was formalized by the Region of Liguria. In this regard the commissioner of Agriculture Giovanni  Barbagallo said: "Our goal is to make it clear to consumers that exist in the oil and basil in a Community trade mark of protected designation of origin that ties the quality product to its land production and that together we can better promote the Ligurian pesto recipe".

This was discussed at the conference, "When wine commitment is women", an event incorporated into the celebrations for 150 years of the Unification of Italy, held in the Senate and chaired by the Senator Renato Schifani. The data clearly demonstrate that, contrary to the trend of other sectors, the number of women involved in the wine sector has increased.
