Where to eat in Sorrento

Christmas is just around the corner. And the pastry shops of the Sorrento Peninsula are starting to take out of the oven the delicious sweets tradition.
On the dinner tables throughout Campania, Naples in the lead, are obligatory the inimitable "struffoli",the balls of fried dough dipped in the honey, decorated with colored sprinkles and candied fruit.

Are also typical of the Sorrento coast the “scauratielli”and the "zeppole”, made with dough cooked in water with added milk and anise flavoring.
In addition to these delicacies there are the "Rococo", for those who have good teeth, made with almonds, hazelnuts and mandarin orange peels, mostaccioli, rhombus coated with icing milk chocolate, white or dark chocolate, and the "susamielli" which have the same mixture of the rococo but S-shaped.

Throughout the Sorrento peninsula there are many places to eat in Sorrento. Each of the small coastal village has its own particular specialty. For this reason I suggest you to rent a car in a car hire Sorrento, to discover the culinary delights of the place!
