The idea was a cellar of Castellina in Chianti, which has combined equal parts of Sangiovese grapes, considered a "male vine," and Merlot grape more "female".
The Sangiovese grapes is one of the oldest Italian black grapes already known at the time of the Etruscans, counted among the best Italian wines. A ruby-colored wine with intense varietal bouquet, dry fruity and intense flavor, medium-weight that matches well with cold meats, grilled or roasted red meats and should be served at 17 °. Merlot, however, is an elegant wine with ruby purple, medium-bodied taste and aroma of grass that is well matched to the white grilled meat and dishes based on mushrooms.
