Red wine and chocolate to boost the brain

The brain leads and coordinates all our body functions and, in adition, our desires, our fears, our
emotions, our ideas come from the brain. It is a perfect machine that gave us the ability of analysis and synthesis, creativity and empathy and memory.
But not all have the same capabilities, and then how to stimulate and increase the ability of our brain?
Researchers of Northumbria University Newcastle Medical School have discovered that dark chocolate and red wine contain substances that help the brain to solve complex problems .
These are the polyphenols in chocolate and resveratrol in the case Wine, substances that act on the enlarged blood vessels and increasing the blood supply to the brain. In this way improves the work of neurons, the brain works more efficiently.
Of course the wine and the chocolate should be used with moderation, because one is an alcoholic beverage, the other because it is a highly energetic food .
Although the combination of best Italian wines, red wine and chocolate is not among those canonical and recommended by most of chefs and sommeliers, there are many cakes and desserts made with red wine and fine chocolate.
In other words to stimulate our mental capacities becomes sweet, savory and a bit alcoholically.
