Beer tastings

Stop with the usual wine tasting classes for chianti italy wine! Forget courses for whites and rosés! The new frontier of drinking well is beer oriented.
The blonde drink is conquering the hearts of a growing number of fans, enough to be proposed in many tastings.

If the local wine keeps firmly in their leadership over the last year, beer consumption has increased of the 148%. Beer and wine cover respectively 46.9 and 47 percent of meals away from home for the weekend, although in the last seven years, the domestic consumption of beer is more than doubled, moving from 3 to 7.6%.

In the wake of this new vogue, the Espresso has launched its first guide to restaurants, pubs and beer shop, and, last but not least, the Italian Sommelier Association and Assobirra, the Industrial Association of Beer and Malt have devised a tasting beer course.
The aim is to learn to recognize the different types of beer, tasting and discovering tastes and flavors.

Not only comparisons between different types of beers, but also techniques and advice on the best matches between the Mediterranean cuisine and beer.
The first stage is Rome, then it will be the turn of Bari, on March 9th, and Milan, on May 7th.
