Has been opened Italian Wine Museum

WiMu, the most innovative Italian Wine Museum, has been opened in Barolo the capital of what is considered the "king of italian wines". The Barolo is indeed a worthy representative of Made in Italy from 1751 and is the official wine of the Court of Savoy.
The WiMu has been inaugurated Sunday, September 12 2010 and for the first time has been realized a non-traditional museum, characterized not by a simple display of wines but by a real sensory and emotional path marked by alternating of dark and light, sounds and colors, accompanied by reality and myth, colors and sounds of the seasons, times of day and year.
The italian wine is "celebrated" thanks to a series of evocations and suggestions and also the structure breaks the rules of traditional museum. In the WiMu the visitor can start and operate machines and buttons, not only look but is involved through multimedia installations, theater and chapels.
The museum consists of five floors that guide visitors on a journey into history of enology. Wine in art, literature, cinema, music, traditional country cuisine and of innovative chefs.
The tour ends Enoteca Regionale del Barolo where there are different types of the king of wines so the visitor can choose a favorite and take it to home.
