The olive oil in Morocco

From the 17th to 19th of June in Meknes, in Morocco will host the Fête de l'Olivier second edition, which will also host Italy and its representation, in order to promote the Italian olive oil.
The meeting is very expected and it involves many countries, with the aim of celebrating the olive oil.

The Mediterranean basin has a secular history in the olive oil cultivation and production.
The choice of Morocco, and especially the choice of the city of Meknes, is not random.
The olive tree is indeed a symbol of the city and its culture dates back to the time of the Phoenicians and Romans, not counting the many legends and folk beliefs related to olive.
