Sorrento between landscapes and tastes


A land enclosed between the sea and mountains: the charm of Sorrento is in its dual nature. In the high, jagged coastline tuff that plunge into the sea and in small bays and hidden coves that evoke the charm of ancient forgotten legends. Land of poetry, of saints and sailors, land that attracts millions of visitors each year, accomplice the mild climate and dreaming landscape.

 Fort of his views and the breathing tranquility, Sorrento is, from time immemorial, steady point in  Italian tourism, also thanks to the richness and variety that made of the Sorrento enogastronomy one of its places of choice.

Sorrento is full of excellent restaurants, food stalls and restaurants where you can learn the unique taste that distinguishes the peninsula. Doubly tied with Neapolitan cooking, which has inspired the Sorrento cuisine, it was able to mix and readjust the taste of traditional Neapolitan recipes by adding a personal touch, either by the varied production of refined olive oil (very good the chili olive oil), citrus fruits, like lemons and oranges, walnuts and tomatoes, meat and fresh fish: do not miss the seafood scialatielli, fried shrimp and calamari, the paccheri with crab , eggplant parmigiana and “gnocchi alla sorrentina”.
