Chili and chocolate muffins
The chili and chocolate muffins: an intriguing and aphrodisiac recipe that combines the delight of the chocolate and the spicy chili flavor in a marriage of flavors that is very hard to resist.
The muffins are very easy and quick to prepare, also excellent as a gift.
Ingredients:
500 g of flour
5 eggs
120 grams of butter
70 ml of milk
15 ml of rum
20 g of chopped almonds
3 tablespoons of cocoa powder
2 teaspoons of chilli powder
1 packet of baking powder
The grated rind of a biologic orange
Directions:
Take a bowl and put all the solid ingredients first and then all the liquid ingredients. Stir until a smooth paste (if the mixture is too dry, add extra virgin olive oil, even better if you have chili olive oil). Then add the orange peel.
Arrange the cups in muffin pan filling to ¾ and bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven at 180 °C.
