Wine therapy: the beauty ally

If a glass of wine a day keeps the doctor away, it is also true that wine is an ally of the beauty and so the makes the wine so healthy and beautiful inside out.
The wine therapy is certainly not new. The beneficial effects of wine are widely cited in the "Beauty Recipes" of Caterina Sforza which enhances the softness of the skin of the wine and mauve flowers of borage or beans. ". The forerunner of the wine therapy is the Ampeloterapia, a treatment based on grapes and grape products, already known at the time of the Greeks and Romans in order to purify the body.

The wine therapy was born in the nineties in France and, needless to say, in the wine region of Bordeaux. pioneer of wine therapy is a woman, Mathilde Cathiard Thomas, founder of Caudalie, the French cosmetics company leader in the production of creams and cosmetics based on grapes. The search for Thomas and her husband went from grape seeds, all along wine-making waste products.

Studies of the University of Bordeaux led to the discovery the beneficial properties of grape seed and vitamin E in them during the fermentation process.
The wine, mixed with substances such as lemon juice and herbs may have beneficial effects on the skin, developing a calming, soothing, antioxidant and anti-wrinkle and especially invigorating.
Among the wines used in the therapy include the Lambrusco wine, chianti italy wine and merlot.
Good wines for good results!
