Italian wine and tourism: Qualitalia project



The link between Italian wine and tourism is getting stronger and now it is estimated that over two million tourists visit the Italian countryside and its famous wine cellars and enjoy Italian wine tasting.
Based on these data and the international success of Italian flavors, “Enoteca Italiana” with ItalianWine Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry has developed Qualitalia, a project that provides a range of food and wine events in some of the most beautiful regions of Italy, from Adriatic coast to the Tyrrhenian coast up to Amalfi Coast.
"A good initiative to promote local products DOP and IGP, thus creating 'a promotion that reaches 360 residents and local restaurants, Italian and foreign visitors in this period that populate our beaches. Italy is one of the leaders among the international cuisine, traditional food and wine particularly appreciated not only for its taste, but also as an element in the healthy Mediterranean diet, so as to become the patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO " .
But what is precisely Qualitalia project?
A Wine Bar will be open from 18 to 24 in the squares of Riccione-Rimini the 19-20th of July, Maiori-Salerno the 23th of July and Castiglione della Pescaia, Grosseto the third August, will be provided for tasting of Italian wines paired with local produce and we will try to spread the culture of wine and Italian sparkling wines through brochures about product of Enoteca Italiana and on the Italian food and wine pairings. One more reason to take a journey to discover the natural beauty and food and wine of the Italian territory as well as diverse and surprising.
