Italy Wine Selection is an on-line wine shop, originated from the wine passion by two brothers called Marco and Tonino Terminiello, managers of the famous restaurant "O'Canonico" in Sorrento.
Thee food passion is combined perfectly with the wine passion.
Terminiello brothers occupy personally in online wine sales.
Before to be put in market, wines are tasted by Marco, who has long sommelier experience, started when he wandered about in all Italy wineries, searching for the best wine, concluding that, ultimately, the Italian wine is best one in the world.
This is the reason because almost all the wines offered at the restaurant and from Italy Wine Selection are strictly Italian.
Tonino Terminiello, however, has occupied in marketing and public relations, e-commerce management and customer relationships, promoting tasting evenings and special events.
The online wine-shop birth was the natural restaurant evolution. Indeed, Italy Wine Selection was born in 2006, while the trade of wine sellers passed on from generation to generation, from about one hundred years, hand in hand whit the restaurant history when the good food lovers ordered the wine sipped during the meal.
Whit the new technologies explosion, to satisfy the wine demand by the “Bacchus nectar” fans, it was decided to create Italy Wine Selection, giving everyone the opportunity to taste bottles which are difficult to find in traditional supermarkets or wine shops.
From full-bodied red wines to luscious white wines, from local sparkling wines to dessert wines up to land rare wines as the Acciaroli 1998 or Chianti Riserva Ducale Oro 2003.
