Aphrodisiac recipes with strawberries

Strawberries: what goodness. It is said that strawberries are born from the tears shed by Venus because of the death of her beloved Adonis. The tears of the goddess, falling from Olympus to earth turned into little red hearts, the strawberries.
Not a random that it is said that strawberries are a powerful aphrodisiac. So why not take advantage of their potential in the cuisine?
We can prepare a tasty appetizer with strawberries and champagne. The procedure is very simple: get fresh strawberries, wash, dry them and put them in a bowl with one or more tablespoons of sugar.
Accompany each bite of strawberries with a sip of champagne.
For dessert, continuing the trend of strawberries, we can prepare muffins with cream and strawberries.

 Ingredients (for 8 muffins):
130 g of flour
60 g of sugar
50 g of butter
1 egg
100 ml double cream
120 g of strawberries
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of baking powder
100 g whipping cream

Procedure:
Place in a bowl flour, sugar, vanilla and baking powder. In an another bowl put the butter, the egg and cream. Stir and mix well. Wash accurately the strawberries and cut into chunks. Incorporate the mixture and pour into cups. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
When cool, decorate with whipped cream and an half of strawberry.
To be combined with a flute of champagne or a good glass of the best Italian wine.
